I founded Travel-Luck to give travelers something search engines and endless lists cannot: a person who understands the whole journey, asks the right questions and stays accountable for the details.

Do you plan trips throughout Europe?
Yes. We create single-country and multi-country European journeys. Portugal is our home base and deepest local specialty; elsewhere we work through established booking channels and trusted destination partners.
How far in advance should we start planning?
For the widest choice of hotels and private guides, starting six to nine months ahead is helpful, especially for summer and holiday travel. We can often help with shorter lead times, but availability will shape the recommendations.
Can you plan a multi-country trip without making it feel rushed?
Yes — that is one of the main reasons travelers work with us. We consider transfer time, hotel changes, realistic sightseeing days and recovery time, then recommend what to include and what to save for another trip.
Can you work with flights or hotels we already booked?
Absolutely. We can build around existing reservations, review how they affect the route and flag anything that may create unnecessary backtracking or tight connections.
How do your planning fees work?
The fee depends on the level of planning and on-trip support you choose. You receive the scope and price before work begins, and no reservation is made without your approval.
How do hotel payments and European currencies work?
Hotels normally charge in euros or another local currency. We make clear what is included, when payment is due and which cancellation terms apply. Any conversion into your home currency is an estimate because your card issuer controls the final exchange rate and possible foreign-transaction fees.
Can you help us choose between trains, a private driver and short flights?
Yes. We compare the real door-to-door experience — schedules, luggage, station or airport time, mobility needs and the value of scenic travel — rather than automatically choosing the fastest-looking option.
Can you plan for limited mobility or other accessibility needs?
Yes. Tell us about step-free access, elevators, walk-in showers, walking limits, dietary needs or medical considerations that affect travel comfort. We incorporate them into hotel, transfer and activity recommendations.
Do we need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend considering comprehensive travel insurance for international travel. Coverage and exclusions vary, so review the policy carefully and consult the insurer about your health, cancellation and disruption needs.
Will we have support while traveling?
Our Travel Support service includes a familiar contact by WhatsApp during the trip. The exact hours, scope and emergency limitations are explained before you choose the service.
What if our plans change after the itinerary is created?
We explain the revision policy at the start. If bookings are already confirmed, changes also depend on the supplier’s terms and current availability; we will always show the implications before proceeding.
Can you check a hotel reservation I made myself?
Yes. Use our Hotel Booking Review to send the confirmation. We compare the same stay, total price, cancellation terms and available benefits, then tell you honestly whether there may be a worthwhile alternative. Nothing changes without your approval.
